Tug of war
On either side
Conscience at war
On the edge of sword.
The eyes hooked
And stoned.
The blanket
a garland
Dream
a jungle of bush.
Traffic heavy
Twin-sided
Speeding fast
Eyelashes blinking
Pathos
Read as dead.
Newspaper leaves
Executors
Of thunder
On thorns spread
Faces fill in.
At the fall
Of the tug brawny
A heavy clash
of applause.
